We released two records in 2010. The response has been amazing not least on the radio. Here’s a little round up:

Dark Sky‘s Frames EP came out in July with a bang. A serious DJ schedule including dates with Skream & Benga, SBTRKT, Bok Bok and Jamie XX as well as radio play from Rinse built Dark Sky’s reputation and continued support from Gilles Peterson and Ras Kwame made ‘Reflex’ one of the club and late night radio staples of 2010. Reflex even made it into Gilles Peterson‘s All Winners 2010 show where he played only “the best tunes from the last 12 months“. The track ‘Drowned City’ was also picked up by Faith Millin and Andrea Gelardin for their pirate radio documentary which will now be called Drowned City.

Seams launched his Tourist EP to much critical acclaim after a live Maida Vale Session with Huw Stephens and support from his network of fans. Live dates at Nail the Cross and huge support from Dummy helped Seams make a big impact. Bleep even made the record one of their Top Picks for 2010.

Koreless‘ single ’4D’ isn’t even out yet but also managed to make Gilles Peterson’s All Winners list for the best tracks of 2010. He’s also convinced the BBC Radio Wales crew with plays from Bethan Elfyn, Jen Long and Adam Walton.

ThristianBPM also deserves a special mention (HoldBoxFlat and The Boiler Room) as well as Luke O’Connor of NewBreed for their continued support.
